The wood I prefer to use for the
Woodspirits is Catalpa. I like the grain characteristics and its ease of
carving. The limbs vary in size so no two are ever alike. The "hatted"
spirits were inspired by the work of a very talented professional
woodcarver, Tom Wolfe. |
